On Saturday I went to Tracy Park Hotel in Wick just outside of Bath to photograph a 50th birthday celebration after being recommended by the hotel.  It was a black tie event and everyone was definitely looking good for this special occasion.  Sarah, the birthday girl, looked amazing, confidently wearing her elegant blue dress and silver heels and certainly defied her age with her youthful looks.

I'd met with Sarah the day before to discuss the plans and show her a sample album that I could make her.  She said she wanted the photos very informal and relaxed, just capturing the feel of the evening.  No one knew I was coming so I made my introductions when the guests arrived and it wasn't long before people relaxed around the camera and before you knew it we were lining up various group shots outside.  I think the bubbly gave everyone some dutch courage!

Sarah wanted some shots of the table decorations which I did beforehand and the hotel itself once everyone had made their way into the Masons Restaurant.
